"History Hound" Dog Costume Contest- An event of the East Tennessee History Fair

Dress your pooch-pal up in his best historic wear to be crowned “History Hound,” a feature event on the main stage of the 5th Annual East Tennessee History Fair.

Dress your pooch-pal up in his best historic wear to be crowned “History Hound,” a feature event on the main stage of the 5th Annual East Tennessee History Fair on Saturday, August 18 in downtown Knoxville.  Dogs will be judged by local celebrities Alison from 107.7 WIVK’s Andy and Alison in the Morning Crew, John Becker from WBIR TV Channel 10’s News Team, and Dr. Dan Feller, Professor of History and Director of the Papers of Andrew Jackson at the University of Tennessee.  Prizes will be awarded for “Best History Themed Costume” and “Most East Tennessee Spirit.”  Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Krutch Park extension.  The “History Hound” contest begins at 10:15 a.m.  Prizes provided by PetSafe.
