Teacher Resource Links
ETHS sponsors this website which began with the TAH grant project which served Blount, Bradley, McMinn, Monroe, Loudon, and Polk Counties, along with Sweetwater and Lenoir City Schools (2003-2010). The new project "Enduring Visions" (2010) serves Anderson, Sevier, and Union Counties. The site is packed with historical content, primary sources, lesson plans, and curriculum units.
This site features primary sources—photographs, letters, diaries, broadsides, newspaper articles, etc.—from across the state.
This site provides updated links to institutions in Tennessee which hold a wide variety of digitized primary sources. The site also includes a thematic guide to online primary sources.
These collections cover Cherokee history, early Tennessee history, and the establishment of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
One of the McClung Collection’s featured online collections is the Women’s Suffrage Collection. The Jim Thompson photographs are also featured.
