Now available from JETH
Two recent publications from The Journal of East Tennessee History are now available in limited quantities.
JETH 77, Supplement
A supplemental issue of JETH 77 served as the official program for the Sixteenth Biennial Ulster American Heritage Symposium, hosted by the East Tennessee Historical Society in 2006. Abstracts of all papers from the conference are included, as well as the full text of all plenary sessions and the keynote speaker, along with selected articles from past issues related to the Scotch-Irish.
Cumulative Index, ETHS Pubs 36-61 and JETH 62-74
Also available is a new cumulative index for Numbers 36-61 of the East Tennessee Historical Society’s Publications (ETHS Pubs) and Numbers 62-74 of The Journal of East Tennessee History (JETH). This is a supplement to two earlier publications: The Cumulative Index to the First Twenty Issues of the Annual Publications of the East Tennessee Historical Society, 1929-1948, published in 1952, and the Cumulative Index to Publications, Numbers 21-35, 1949-1963, which appeared in 1966.
The first part of this most recent cumulative index includes an “Author Index” which lists alphabetically by author or editor all the articles and documents that have appeared in ETHS Pubs or JETH since 1965. Follow the links at the left for a complete bibliography for all issues, beginning with No. 1 (1929), listing articles both by author and by subject.
For ordering information, call ETHS at 865-215-8824.
NEWSLINE
Newsline is a regular newsletter of the East Tennessee Historical Society. Published quarterly, Newsline keeps our members up to date on the programs and activities taking place at ETHS. Each issue contains short articles about new exhibits, education programs, upcoming events at ETHS, and information about a few of the special people and places in East Tennessee. Regular columns include news about recent acquisitions to the museum collection, a list of new members, and acknowledgements of ETHS supporters. Perhaps most useful is "From the Grassroots," a column that lists upcoming activities and events at some of the ETHS affiliate organizations and societies located throughout East Tennessee.
TENNESSEE ANCESTORS
Tennessee Ancestors is a tri-annual genealogical magazine published by the East Tennessee Historical Society.
