Charles E. Atchley, Jr.

Chuck Atchley is an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, prior to which he was an Assistant District Attorney General for the state of Tennessee.  Atchley is a direct descendant of  Revolutionary War veteran Thomas Atchley, who in 1785 settled in what is now Sevier County.  He describes himself as “loving all history,” but is especially passionate about his native state. He is president of the Sevier County Public Library Foundation.  Chuck, wife, Catherine, and daughter Cate split their time between their home in Knoxville and a farm in Sevier County.
