Joe Thompson

Vice-President Knoxville Area
Joe is a native Tennessean – born in Knoxville and raised in Memphis. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and the Securities Industry Institute. He is currently a Managing Director at Raymond James, overseeing all retail operations for the Knoxville and Tri-Cities areas. Joe serves his community by working passionately with local and national charities. Joe was co-chair of the 2014 Medal of Honor Convention in Knoxville - working closely with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and its Foundation to protect, preserve, and perpetuate the legacy of the Medal of Honor and its recipients. Joe currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of East Tennessee, the East Tennessee Historical Society, and The University of Tennessee at Knoxville Department of Finance Advisory Council. Joe and his wife Becky have two children – Madeline and Harrison.
