Join us for a workshop focusing on Tennessee’s stories related to the New Deal and WWII home front. State Historian Dr. C. Vann West and Ms. Colbi Hogan with the Center for Historic Preservation at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) will cover content, and Ms. Kira Duke with Teaching with Primary Sources MTSU will share strategies from the recently published World War II Home Front in Tennessee curriculum. The workshop will be held at the historic, CCC built Cumberland Mountain State Park. The group will also visit the Cumberland Homesteads Tower Museum.
