DescriptionSquare within square crocheted bedspread. Squares contain 6 raised diamonds, each one laying inside a larger one. Diamonds are seperated by 6 recessed diamonds. In all four corners are three leaves. The leaves point toward the corners . When four blocks come together they give the impression of another square pattern added. Blocks are sewn together with an open stitch on all four sides. 11 blocks long x 8 blocks wide. A scalloped border with the same leaves as on the blocks has been added to the right, left and bottom edges. Spread made from ecru cotton thread.
