Overshot coverlet perhaps made by Margaret Ann Middleton Shearman*, wool and cotton, Whig Rose or Lover's Knot variation worked in three colors: blue and red on white, blocks of squares within interlocking rings, woven in three strips and sewn together, hemmed by hand at top and bottom edges, 91"l x 91"w, c.1850s.
