Caring for Family Heirlooms

21 May 2024

At times, genealogical research reveals more than names and dates; it may also uncover family photographs, letters, Bibles, or other heirlooms. What are the best practices for caring for these historic objects? This session will provide practical tips for preserving family heirlooms and other objects of historical value.

This workshop is free and open to the public; pre-registration is not required.

Instructors: Rebecca P’Simer, East Tennessee Historical Society, and Adam H. Alfrey, Knox County Public Library

The East Tennessee History Center’s Genealogy Program is a partnership between Knox County Public Library and the East Tennessee Historical Society with support from Friends of the Knox County Public Library and East Tennessee PBS.
